We are delighted to be introducing our latest knitting tour. We have had great feedback from our knitting tours of Ireland and we are delighted after months of planning and research to have launched our knitting tour of Scotland on the 17th of September 2018 due to demand from past customers asking for knitting tours of Scotland. This is a hands-on knitting activity tour complimented with main attractions included in the itinerary, it is our “One and Only” knitting tour of Scotland 2018.

This 9 Night tour will start in the hilly Scottish capital of Edinburgh. You will have the chance to sightsee the city and explore the Old Medieval Town and the elegant Georgian New Town along with entrance to the Edinburgh Castle at the heart of the city. Also discover the port city of Glasgow, today the centre of the cultural scene in Scotland with it museums such as the Riverside which you will visit on this tour. Also, Glasgow is the home to the Scottish Opera, Spanish Ballets and National Theatre of Scotland.

As the tour progresses to the Highlands of Scotland you will have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Scottish Highland scenery. See the Highland Folk Museum, New Lanark World Heritage Site, a guided tour of Knockando Woolmill, Johnsons of Elgins mill factory tour; a tour of a whiskey distillery and a trip to Sarah Berry where she takes you through the process of her Fair Isle knitting techniques and much more.
