Welcome to Knit Copenhagen!

Our 7 Night experience captures the magic of Denmark’s capital city. In addition, enjoy Hans Christian Andersen’s hometown of Odense, a day trip to Malmo in Sweden and tutelage from local Danish knitting experts! You will be enjoying the comfort of the 5* Hotel NH Collection in the heart of Copenhagen! After your transfer from Copenhagen Airport, meet with your fabulous Danish tour guide! Afterwards, take some time getting to know Copenhagen and indulge in some yarn shopping including the wonderful Sommerfuglen! Over the following days, take part in a number of workshops from Knitting with Color with Inga Walloe to Asa Tricosa’s hem masterclass. There will also be a day trip to the Swedish city of Malmo for a visit to one of its best love yarn stores, Planet Wool and a workshop with Carly Smith! Out about we will be visiting some of the best-known Copenhagen Yarn Stores and in your free time, we will have a few more hidden gems you may wish to visit! Enjoy a workshop with Karen S Lauger of Lykkefanten Designs who draws inspiration from her homeland when creating her designs. Enjoy exploring 400-year-old Rosenborg Castle, home to the Danish Crown Jewels and some of their greatest treasures. Visit Tivoli Gardens, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world and the inspiration for Walt Disney! The gardens are in full bloom and the entire park is full of colour, vibrancy and a myriad of stalls and eateries! See the best of Copenhagen by boat by canal cruise, as you sail leisurely past The Little Mermaid, The Opera House and Christiansborg Palace – have the camera ready! Enjoy Beer tasting and the history of the world famous (probably) Carlsberg Brewery and take a trip to Odense, hometown of Hans Christian Andersen!
