At the A’ The Airts which is based in the Royal Burgh of Sanquhar. The vision behind the place is to provide a space where individuals can meet and express their creativity.

At A’ The Airts they provide a platform for local artists and crafters to sell their works either in our shop or during exhibitions held in the Gallery. The shop has a wide variety of crafts available, many of which use the Sanquhar patterns (some items are only sold there).
They strive to use local crafters and are continually finding new sources.

Their well-established project – Sanquhar Pattern Designs https://www.sanquharknits.com – is revitalising the local cottage industry centred around the Sanquhar knitwear. The knitters produce a range of scarves, hats, jumpers, gloves, baby blankets and other items (some seasonal) which we proudly sell in the shop and online. New artists and craftspeople are always welcome and encouragement is given to those who would like to sell their goods or use the exhibition space (in the theatre or café) to submit their work for consideration.
